The journalist I am most interested in.

Jera researched Rosie O'Donnell for the journalist she was most interested in. Personally, I have been a fan of Rosie for a very long time. I always remember her laughing which makes me want to listen to what she has to say. She has been through many hard personal experiences, for example, her mother died when she was only eleven year old.
Rosie started her career in 1984 on VH1 for about four years. Every year she had more and more fans, and talked about more and more stories. Everyone knew her name by the 90's. I think because she is so funny, and she see's each situation  in a very different light then anyone else does. She began hosting her own talk show once she realized people were just waiting to see more of her. She is  currently unemployed.
Janet Cooke is a great person not to be. She was under extreme pressure in her job, so the way she made it all go away was to make up a fake story. We all know you can not get away with that for very long an she was fired. Even though journalists are under pressure all the time, I would never make up a fake story. I would not want to be that type of person. I want to only find the truth, and not disappoint my fans.

  1. Maddi, I've also been a fan of Rosie O'Donnell for a long time! I used to love her when I was growing up. I think we all agree that Janet Cooke doesn't earn journalist of the year.

  2. Rosie turned out really well for losing her mother. I give her full respect for going through all of that. Having a good sense of humor helps grab attention. Like honesty i love the stand up comedian, Kevin Hart. I probably didn't spell his name right but thats ok :D

  3. I used to love watching Rosie's show because it make me laugh so much. I think it is inspiring that she was able to overcome all of the difficulties she had to deal with and become a successful tv show host. I defiantly agree with what you have to say about Janet Cooke.
